Machine Obedience I
Two hours of training for operator and machine. Learn the proper way
to wind a bobbin, thread your machine, and discuss needles, threads and
basic presser feet. Student will do basic straight and overcast stitching,
decorative stitching, appliqué and learn to care for their machine. Student
brings own machine and scissors. Free with purchase of a sewing machine

An informative demonstration of
what you can do with your new or old sewing machine, from sewing on buttons
and mending to quilting and buttonholes. “Well worth watching a second

Fun With Decorative Stitches
Learn fun and
easy ways to use some of the decorative stitches in your sewing machine,
even if your machine is a basic model. Bring your machine, accessories
and empty bobbin. Any machine with more than zig-zag stitches. Class fee
is $10 or free with purchase of sewing machine from The Creative Needle,
Kit fee is $7.50.

Basics
Learn to Love your serger. We will cover threading and setting tensions

and set up a time that is convenient.
We also provide Private Serger Instruction. Our serger experts are
available for one on one serger instruction to go beyond basic serger

Since most of our classes include all supplies, a final decision to hold a class is made 72 hours prior to the class. No refunds will be made after this time. If you need to cancel you may find an alternate student to take your place.
All classes are 2 hours unless otherwise specified. If you find a class that is not on the current schedule, please call or stop by and fill out a class request slip. We use our request slips to schedule future classes.
