NEW machine CLASS SCHEDULE

Sewing Machine Obedience I 
Two hours of training for operator and machine. Learn the proper way to wind a bobbin, thread your machine, and discuss needles, threads and basic presser feet. Student will do basic straight and overcast stitching, decorative stitching, appliqué and learn to care for their machine. Student brings own machine and scissors. Free with purchase of a sewing machine from The Creative Needle.

An informative demonstration of what you can do with your new or old sewing machine, from sewing on buttons and mending to quilting and buttonholes. “Well worth watching a second time” was overheard in class. Bring a notebook. Free with purchase of a sewing machine from The Creative Needle.

Serger Basics
Learn to Love your serger. We will cover threading and setting tensions for sewing seams. Bring your serger and all accessories. Free with purchase from The Creative Needle. Private class available for all makes of machines.

I Have Never Used A Sewing Machine Before...
Bring your machine or use one of ours and learn the basics of sewing machine usage and maintenance. We will cover winding bobbins, inserting needles, threading machines, sewing straight stitch, zig-zag and a mending stitch. We will also discuss needles and threads. $35 class fee

If you have purchased an Elna or Babylock Serger from The Creative Needle and you have not taken your free classes, please call Marge or Sheryl and set up a time that is convenient.

We also provide Private Serger Instruction. Our serger experts are available for one on one serger instruction to go beyond basic serger classes. $60 per hour. Call for an appointment. 303-794-7312 

All classes are 2 hours unless otherwise specified. If you find a class that is not on the current schedule, please call or stop by and fill out a class request slip. We use our request slips to schedule future classes.
