Placemat Drive for Nourish - Meals on Wheels

We love how generous our customers are with their talents! This one is easy, make a placemat, (or 2 or 20…) for folks that receive Nourish - Meals On Wheels.

Help us support their mission “ To enrich the lives of seniors and homebound adults in the South-Metro Denver area by providing nutritious meals and services that promote dignity, well-being and independence “. Most of the recipients live alone and we would like to brighten their meal time. For each finished placemat you donate we will place your name in a drawing for Creative Needle Gift Certificates! Our goal is to have 500 by October 2021.

Nourish Meals On Wheels delivers approximately 500 meals per day.


RULES
1. Must be made with washable fabric.
2. Approximately 12” x 18” in size
3. Any technique is acceptable: applique, embroidery, pieced
quilting, etc.
4. Bound and/ or finished edges please!
This is a fun way to use orphan blocks, left over batting, scrap piecing, embroidery test samples, crazy quilting, hand
embroidery, etc.
Bring completed placemats as you have them finished for a store display. The final deadline will be announced at a later date.
