Triptych Shirt: Wearable Art Workshop
Class description
Using two Columbine panels, you will arrange and appliqué the triptych design onto a shirt, then add slow-stitched embellishments that highlight the flowers and other special details in the panel. Learn how thoughtful placement, appliqué, and decorative hand stitching can transform printed fabric into a truly personal design.
You will leave class with a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece completed or well underway, along with ideas for adding your own creative touches.
Experience level: Confident beginner. Students should be comfortable with the basic sewing and hand-stitching skills required for the project.
